The Cincinnati Bearcats weren’t exactly touted as favorites to win March Madness this season, but consistently strong play over the course of the first few months of the NCAA season coupled with an unbeaten American Athletic Conference record has them creeping up the college basketball futures. Though ranked No. 15 in the latest polls, the Bearcats will have their work cut out for them against conference rival Louisville. The reigning champion Cardinals sit 12th on the same list. The major difference between the two programs, however, comes in the sportsbook.
While Cincinnati may have a better record in the AAC at this point in the year, they have just 75/1 odds of winning March Madness. Louisville boasts a 14/1 mark on those same NCAA futures.
